Ciana Luisa López

Postdoctoral Fellow

Ciana is from rural Northern New Mexico (her heart is still there). She received her BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Mexico (2016). She completed her PhD in Bioengineering at the University of Washington working with Prof. Patrick Stayton (2024). Her thesis is entitled “Polymeric Prodrugs for Infectious Disease and Immune Therapies”. Outside of lab she enjoys taking her toddler to the State Farmer’s Market, the Eno River, and Costco.
